Calculator opens when entering potential math expressions

If you type a math operator after a price or amount, the calculator opens. For example, typing 100+ will open the calculator.

Display of status when sending order documents

When sending more than 50 order lines, the status of the sending is displayed in a new manner. Now, the Send dialog closes when the sending starts, and you can follow the status in the notification panel at the top of the screen (bell icon). You can close the layout once the sending has started and do other tasks. A new notification is shown when the sending is complete.

Handling of user sessions

Several updates have been introduced, related to user sessions:

  • A new default layout, My sessions (13077), allows users to see all active sessions connected to their user, for all companies. Access to the Active session table is needed.
  • Users which are not system administrators can stop their own locked sessions or processes, provided that they have been granted access to relevant tables.
  • Only system administrators can stop other users’ sessions or processes.
  • When a user opens a layout which already has an active session created by them for the same company, they can decide to continue using the data from the previous session by saving or editing, or they can decide to discard the old session and start a new one.

Missing impact of access rights restriction

Even if Execute was set to No for an access group under Delete/change selection criteria in Access management - Miscellaneous functions, it was still possible for a user belonging to this group to modify the selection criteria in the layouts. This has been solved, and the user will also be informed about insufficient access rights in the Selections dialog.

Mapping to income statement

The Standard account table has been updated with mappings between standard account and grouping code as well as grouping category. These are used for mapping the General ledger account table with the grouping code and category, using the Set standard accounts processing.

Note:
In Norway, these fields will be mandatory for the SAF-T report from 2025, so it's important to do the mapping before creating a SAF-T report. Norwegian customers need to review the standard mapping for their specific general ledger accounts, and also add mappings that are not part of the Business NXT standard accounts.

User interface improvements

In some tabs in the Processing method dialog, headings explaining the various settings were missing. The headings are now in place, to make it easier to understand the different tabs.

New and updated default layouts

A new default layout has been added:

  • AutoInvoice sending - Error handling (13079)

The default layout User (13032) has been updated to make it easier to manage users in Business NXT. Integration users are managed on the Integration user tab, with a filter on the Connect application column, where Connect application is automatically enabled for new users. Regular users are managed on the User tab, as before.

Display of both label and value has been enabled in the following default layouts:

  • Sales order (12951), Confirmation tab and Packing slip tab: Delivery method/Delivery terms columns
  • Invoicing (13002), Sending failed tab: AutoInvoice status column
