Release 2024-06-06

New feature: Task automation

You can automate tasks to be performed at regular intervals.
Note:
To be able to use the task automation feature, you need to be assigned the role Task automation administrator in Visma.net Admin.

When you right-click in a table or open a context menu, you can select Automate task (provided that there is a processing that can be carried out).

In the Automate task window, you make the following settings:

Parameter Description
Name The name of the task
Description Enter a description of the task if you want to.
Task type Select the task in the drop-down list.
Select company Select company or company group, and then the company for which the task will be performed.
Schedule Make settings for the frequency and details for the task. Select if the task should be activated immediately.

You find an overview of all automated tasks in the user menu at the top right of the screen. From the overview, you can see the status of executed tasks and view details about tasks.

New information fields in the Barcode table

New information fields, named Value 1 - Value 4 for numeric values and Text 1 - Text 4 for text values, have been added in the Barcode table. These can be used to store information, for example to support integrations.

AutoInvoice: Text lines with Quantity = 0

If no product and no quantity has been set on an order line, the Quantity is now set to 0 when sending invoices to AutoInvoice, to make sure that the invoice line is presented as intended.

Exporting tables with custom names to Excel

Previously, if a table in the layout had a custom name including quotation marks ("), there was an issue when exporting to Excel. This has been solved.

Looking up values in the Limitation group table

Under some special circumstances, an error message would be displayed when looking up a value in the Limitation group table. This has been solved.

Distribution of accrual accounting amounts

When updating vouchers where the suspension date has passed the Accrual accounting start year/period date, you must manually adjust the date on the batch and voucher for the update to be performed. This reduces the number of posted accrual accountings, since the period directly after the suspension date gets a value twice as high as intended.

You can now split the accrual accounting according to the originally intended number of postings by enabling Always split accrued amount in intended number of fractions in the Accounting processing in the Company information table.

Improved keyboard navigation

You can now navigate and make selections in the Company menu in the Layout toolbar using the keyboard.
