Create new companies based on template companies

Template companies are datasets that are used for particular purposes (such as demo data) or industries (such as accounting offices or contractors), on top of the empty company data.

There are two ways to use templates companies in Business NXT:

  1. Relying on preset values specific for each country, available for selection when creating a new company from the Company management screen.

  2. Marking an existing company as a Template company inside the Company table, and then using this template to create a new company.

When creating a new company, you can leave the Template company field empty if you want to create a company without any data. This is however not according to best practice as some recommended settings will be missing.

Task overview grouping

If you had set the Task overview grouping to Group by task, the linked layout wouldn’t open when you clicked it. This has been solved.

Status indication for the Create payment suggestion processing

If you select more than 50 open supplier (or customer) entries for Create payment suggestion, you will see the status of the ongoing processing in the notification panel.

Accurate display of company data

When you had opened layouts for several companies, data from the company in a previously opened layout would be displayed if you opened a new layout using the layout path at the top. This has been solved and layouts are opened for the chosen company.

Import from Payroll: Display of free text field

Now, the Description field in the Batch table contains the value from the free text field in the XML file for the document coming from Payroll.

Focus after executing a processing

After executing a processing with keyboard navigation using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + *, the top of the browser got focus. This has been solved.

Status messages from Visma.net Approval

In some cases, the messages that came into Business NXT from Visma.net Approval would appear in the wrong order, resulting in that the status 4 - Approved that arrived first would shortly after be replaced by the status 9 - In approval flow. Now, the Approval task table will not be updated with the status 9 - In approval flow, but with 3 - Waiting for approval. No other functionality has changed, and the status from Visma.net Approval with all events including Current Approver will be displayed.
