Release 2024-05-08
Issue in sending order documents with attachments
When sending order documents with attachments (for example an invoice), the process failed. The same result also occurred when downloading a document copy with an attachment. This has been solved.
Rounding of quantity in the Order line table
The Quantity field in the Order line table was always rounded up to two decimals, even if there was a setting in the Company information table to use more decimals. This issue emerged again after being solved in the 2024-03-25 release. This has been solved.
Support for more rows when exporting to Excel
The export to Excel has been improved and will now export all rows in the selection. However, there is a limitation (approximately 150 000 rows) depending on how many columns are visible in the layout. The files will be stored in Files, found in the top menu.
Invoice lines without an amount
Invoice lines without an amount are no longer included when creating voucher lines from incoming invoices. Exception: If the supplier has a value in the Contracting, buyer's reference field in the Associate table, only invoice lines without quantity are excluded from vouchers.
Automatic handling of rounding differences on supplier invoices
An additional voucher line with text "Rounding" is now added if small differences (less than 1) occur due to rounding when running the Process document processing in the Accounting document table. A Voucher no. is added to the voucher line, if the Add voucher no. when the voucher is created setting is enabled in the Workflow processing.
This doesn't affect the rounding of vouchers from sales or purchase orders by Business NXT.
Possibility to add attachments in Approval removed
The Add attachments option in Visma.net Approval is temporarily disabled (greyed out) since added documents are not delivered to Business NXT. In the future, proper support for adding attachments in Approval will be added.
Order of the documents displayed when batch sent to Approval
The order of documents displayed in Approval is now changed for invoices and credit notes. When the original invoice is an electronic invoice, the rendered XML is shown in the first tab of the document viewer. When the original invoice is a scanned invoice, an image of the invoice (pdf) is shown in the first tab.
Improvements in the View documents processing
The list of files now takes less space and there is more room for the actual document. It's also possible to collapse the file list, to show only document icons.
If there are connected documents that were migrated from Visma Document Center, you can view them by clicking the archive icon at the bottom of the file list.
Add accounting document number on batch level
A Store accounting document no. on batch option has been added to the Workflow processing field in the Company information table. When this is checked, an Accounting document no. is added to the batch, when manually creating a new accounting document for vouchers.
Workflow details visualisation available in several new tables
The Workflow details element can now be visualised also in the following tables:
- Batch
- Updated batch
- General ledger transaction
- Open supplier entry
- Supplier transaction
- Capital asset transaction
- Open customer entry
- Customer transaction
Improvement in the Upload to File Service processing
Earlier, the Upload to File Service processing would fail if the file didn't have any extension or the file name was plain "pdf". This has been solved.
OneStop Reporting now shows documents migrated from Visma Document Center
In OneStop Reporting, you can drill down to documents behind the transactions. Files that have originally been added in Business NXT have been available, and now you can also see files migrated from Visma Document Center.
Improved keyboard navigation in the Sorting dialog
Using the keyboard to navigate inside the Sorting dialog has been improved. When opening the dialog, focus is now on the first input field. Everything that you can navigate to using a mouse, you can also navigate to with a keyboard.
Improved keyboard navigation in the Processing menu
The first processing will now have focus when opening the Processing menu using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + *. This reduces the number of key presses you need to make when starting a processing.
Starting a processing using the Enter key on a numeric pad
Now you can start a processing in the Processing menu using the Enter key on the numeric pad.
Keyboard navigation in the Send to Approval dialog
The Send to Approval processing dialog now supports keyboard navigation. The initial focus is on search for approvers. You can use the Tab key to move around in the dialog, in combination with the Enter key to select and to add new steps.
