Credit product cost

The account defining where to post product costs. There are account no. for both debit and credit so that the amounts will be matched.

When there is a decrease in stock, the debit and credit accounts are used as defined, in which the credit account is normally the stock level, which reduces the stock. When there is an increase in stock, the debit and credit accounts are reversed, so that it is the credit account that is debited, increasing the stock level. The test is performed on the Stock movement, not the Transaction type and Quantity.

Turnover rate

The portion of the amount that will be posted on organisational unit from this record.

Each organisational unit class is processed separately, so that eg. department can come from VAT- and accounting information table, while the project may come from the Order or Order line table. In the case of conflicts, this field can be used to set how large a proportion (eg. a royalty) to be posted on the organisational unit in the VAT- and accounting information table. This can be distinguished in three cases:

1. If value of the Turnover rate is 0, the organisational unit in the VAT- and accounting information table have the lowest priority

2. If value of the Turnover rate is 100, the organisational unit in the VAT- and accounting information table have the highest priority

3. If value of the Turnover rate is between 0 and 100, the voucher will be split, based on the combination of the organisational unit in VAT- and accounting information, Order line and Order tables (in this prioritized order).The specified percentage of the amount will be posted.

VAT and accounting processing

Settings defining the behaviour of the VAT- and accounting information record.

A look-up opens the dialog box where you can see the following check boxes and options:

Quantity on sales vouchers: The quantity from order lines is transferred to the Quantity field in voucher lines for sales accounts. The check box here is also shown as a cross in the Quantity field in sales accounts.
Use debit cost as cross account to client outlay: The account number specified in the Debit cost field is used as a cross account for client outlay.
Account debit/credit freight 1-4 and customs on purchase: Freight and customs will be posted for purchases and not for sales.

You may also select Discount processing in the Company information table.
Add freight 1-4 to temp. posting: If checkbox is selected, the values in the corresponding fields for Freight 1, Freight 2, Freight 3, Freight 4 on the Purchase order line will be added to Original cost price (dom.) field, in Product transaction table and temporary posted on the accounts given in the VAT- and accounting information table.

Withholding tax rate

A withholding tax rate that is used when vouchers are produced. You can also enter a withholding tax rate in the VAT code table for manual posting.
