Incoming product data

The data from imported product catalogue XML file is stored in the Incoming product data table. From this table, the data can be processed into the product tables.

EAN item no.

EAN item code for the product.

This value will be used for identifying existing products.

An EAN/GTIN item number has either 8 or 13 digits. The 8-digit version is used for small packages. EAN/GTIN codes with 13 digits are unique all over the world, and the 2 or 3 first digits identify the country where the code was assigned.

Each line in the table is given a consecutive number per Incm. doc. no. in the order in which they are entered.

Status

The status of the Incoming product data row.

When the status is 2 - Ready for update, the product may be updated according to the set Action.

2 - Ready for update: When product no has been checked successfully based on value in the Action field.
3 - Product exists: Product ID (EAN item no., Sup. prod. no.) has been searched and found, and Action = 1 - Add.
4 - Duplicate found: Action = 1 - Add, but the suggested Product no. for the new product already exists.
5 - Product not found: Product ID (EAN item no., Sup. prod. no.) has been searched and not found, and Action = 2 - Update or 3 - Delete.
6 - Processed: Product data has been updated to the product tables.

Used to set the VAT and accounting rules for the product.

Used to set the VAT and accounting rules for the product according to the information in VAT rate field. If updating existing product, the existing product's VAT and accounting group will not be replaced if left empty.
