Order line addition

Accounting cost is a string that may contain accounting information given by the customer to the suppliers so that the invoice can be processed and posted automatically when received.

When receiving a purchase order, the accounting information is added to the Order line addition table, in the Accounting cost field.

You may override the Accounting cost value when sending a purchase order by adding a text string manually in the Order line addition table, one string per order line. If not set, the default function will be used.

Order line reference

Used as OrderLineReference for XML, if the value is alphanumeric or too long for the order line field External ID.

OrderLineReference is a value used when processing electronic documents to identify the buyer's order line the XML content is relevant for. Normally, this is found in the External ID field on the order line, but this field does not support alphanumeric or long (10+ characters) values. If the value is not numeric and 9 or less characters, the value can be entered in this field, and it will be picked up as OrderLineReference for the XML. Note that to use this field, External ID must be empty, as that is the default mapping for OrderLineReference.

The field is only in use when receiving orders, and when sending order response, despatch advice and invoice. When receiving orders, the value is saved to both the External ID field, and to the Order line reference field as a backup. If the value cannot be saved to External ID, the field is left empty, and Order line reference will be used on the outgoing order documents.
