Is normally set by activating the actual page element before the layout is saved.

Normally, the initial access regulation is set in design mode in the drop-downs for Access. These values can later be updated in design mode, or in the Manage layouts window.

Rows in different tables that belongs together in a package are given the same value in this field. Rows from joined tables are also covered. On upgrade to newer versions, old rows may be deleted before new rows are imported, without conflicting with rows that the users have added.

Is taken into account when the layout is read, to be backward compatible with layouts saved with earlier versions, without requiring data conversions when the meaning of fields have changed or old rows are missing values ​​in new fields.

If this field is not filled in, the window layout remains on the top level.

Normally, the folder is chosen in the Save layout dialog box in design mode. The folder can later be updated the Manage layouts window.

Used internally by the system to structure layouts.

The layout name is entered in design mode, or in the Save layout dialog box.

A standard layout can be saved as a custom layout by pressing the Save as copy button in design mode. Custom layouts can be copied by selecting the Save as copy option (behind the Save changes button).

Page element numbers identify page elements uniquely, also over time, and are not reused after page elements are deleted.

The parameters are separated with a comma (and a space). Each parameter is specified with the name of the parameter, a space, and a number in parentheses indicating the formatting:

Parameter names can be up to 40 characters long, and must be unique in the list.

Drill-through parameters are normally defined with the Parameters command (in the Layout group in the Design tab).

If the field has the value 0, it is processed in the same way as -1, i.e. all the check boxes are selected on and all information is saved.

This field is not relevant for Business NXT.

System database

The layout is company-independent.

A company-independent layout is normally created by holding down the Shift key while executing the New layout command (in the Design group in the Home tab).

Include in navigation panel

The window layout should appear in the navigation panel (the Layout tabs in the Ribbon).

Is normally set with the Include in navigation panel check box in the Save window layout dialog box (in the Layout group in the Design tab, or in the Design group in the Home tab), and may be toggled with the Include in navigation panel command in the Layout explorer.

Use it as startup window

The window layout should be activated with the Start window (F11) command (in the Navigation group in the Home tab).

Is normally set with the Use it as startup window check box in the Save window layout dialog box (in the Layout group in the Design tab, or in the Design group in the Home tab).

Not editable in Professional

The window layout cannot be edited in the Professional edition of the program.

Used on document copies

The window layout is used on document copies, and may trigger a question if you try to save the layout again.

Is normally set when document copies are made.

Create copy

The window layout is a copy of an original layout in a branch solution data collection.

Is normally set with the Create copy check box in the Save window layout dialog box (in the Layout group in the Design tab, or in the Design group in the Home tab).

When set, the window will be used to display voucher details in Approval iframe.

Approval updated voucher

When set, the window will be used to display updated voucher details in Approval iframe.

Approval purchase request

When set, the window will be used to display order details in Approval iframe.

For internal use by the program.

Rows in a data collection that need to be recognized on later upgrades, are assigned a unique value in this field, in addition to a common value in the Data collection field.

The window name is displayed on the window tab, and may be printed on forms with the @Report macro function.

If this field is not filled in, the value in the Layout name field will be applied.

No credit control

The program should not perform credit control in the window layout.

Is normally toggled with the No credit control check box in the Window preferences dialog box (in the Layout group in the Design tab).

Vertical scrollbar

Shows a vertical scrollbar in the window layout, applying to the active page element.

Is normally toggled with the Vertical scrollbar command (in the Layout group in the Design tab).

Horizontal scrollbar

Shows a horizontal scrollbar in the window layout, applying to the active page element.

Is normally toggled with the Horizontal scrollbar command (in the Layout group in the Design tab).

Alternative background

Shows an alternative background colour between the page elements in the window layout.

Is normally set with the Alternative background (F8) command (in the Layout group in the Design tab).
