Restrictions

Exempt from

You can exempt products from processing menu items and completion or processing of associated fields.

If you want to exempt entire orders from processing, you can find and select appropriate options in the column Excluded in Order status in the Order table.

Setting	Description
Returning	This setting prevents the use of the processing Returned for order lines. This processing is used when reserved hired/loaned objects are returned.
Finishing	This setting prevents the use of the processing Finish on order lines. The setting is valid for outgoing transaction types.
Acceptance	If you would like to confirm now without printing order confirmations for sales orders you enter the value in Confirm now. When you save the quantity is updated in the Confirmed field. This setting prevents entering value in Confirm now on sales order lines.
Invoice received	This setting prevents the use of the processing Received invoice on order lines.
Goods received	This setting prevents the use of the processing Finish on order lines. The setting is valid for incoming transaction types.
Sent from supplier	This setting prevents the use of the processing Sent on purchase order lines.
Purchase confirmation	This setting prevents the use of the processing Confirmed on purchase order lines
Recalculate prices	This setting prevents the use of the processing Confirmed in the order table for order lines.
Cancelling	The processing Cancel sets the order line as cancelled without deleting it. This setting prevents the use of this processing.
Order generation	The order line is not generated on automatic order generation. The Exempt from order generation flag is set automatically in the Order line status field when the order line is created.
Calc. of additional cost	The product will be exempt from cost price addition and freight costs from the order head. Note: If you exempt entire orders from processing in the Order status menu, this does not apply for calculation of additional cost. Setting exempt from calculation of additional cost does not then complete the line with distributed costs from the order head.

Mandatory fields

Setting	Description
Locations on increase	This setting will highlight the Location field in the order line, but it will not be set as a mandatory field.
Disregard mandatory fields	This setting overrides any Entry rules setting with mandatory values in fields in the order lines.

Processing methods locked	This setting disables the possibility to do any changes in processing methods on the Order line table.
