Product processings

The following processings are available from the Product table:

Change Product no.

This processing is used to change Product no. on all rows where the field New product no. is filled in.

Note:
You cannot use an existing product number as the new product number.

Starting the processing

  2. Select the product rows you want to process.
  3. In the Processing menu, select Change Product no..

Create stock balance

This processing is used to manually create new records in the Stock balance table for newly created products. If the record is not created upon goods receipt, a new row will be created in the table automatically.

Rows will be created with the stock you have specified as normal stock for the product. Otherwise, the stock balance row for default stock will be created according to settings made in the Company information table.

An average cost price will be suggested, based on the Price- and discount matrix table:

  • The lowest cost price for the rows in the matrix where the Product price gr. 1 - Product price gr. 3, Warehouse no. and Unit fields either have the same value as in the product row, or are not filled in, and the present date falls within any chosen from and to dates.

If there is no cost price for the domestic currency in the matrix, the most favourable cost price is chosen from any foreign cost prices, after they have been converted into the domestic currency using the valid exchange rate in the Currency table.

Stock balances will not be created for products that have already been created for the relevant stock in the Stock balance table or are exempted from warehousing.

Starting the processing

  1. Select the product rows you want to process.
