Item location

You define prioritised locations for products in the relevant warehouses in the Item location table. The Item location table contains one row for each location, per product/warehouse combination. You use the Location table in combination with the Item location table.

If you want Item location to be pre-defined, select Use location control and Check location values against item locations in the Reservation processing field in the Company information table.

In the Location table you enter the measurements for the location and rules for how the location will be managed in the Location processing field, while in the Item location table you enter Max quantity in base unit and special rules in the Item location processing field, that only applies to this product. To check the measurements and quantity, select Check location balance in the Reservation processing field in the Company information table.

Please notice that checking on quantity, weight and volume require that you have defined the Item location table for control and lookup, and that an item location for each product is defined.

PropertyValueDescription

SQL nameItemLocThe table name in the database.
API identifieritemLocationThe API identifier used in GraphQL.
Table no.124The table number in the data model.

The following fields exist in this table:

Count date

The date on which the stock take of the product was performed.

The field is updated with the date you enter in the dialog box for the Transfer to stock count processing. You can override this value.

When you correct the stock level, this value is used in the Trans. date field in the Product transaction table. This makes it possible to select transactions by date. You can also select the same date in the Value date box in the Post cost processing dialog box, so that all transactions and posting fall within the desired period.

The date is validated using the regional settings in Windows.
