This is where you find important information about configuring and monitoring Business NXT, for example about setting up user permissions and roles, and about the system logs.
Logs
In Business NXT, some information is logged automatically, while other data can be logged if needed.
Active system process processings
The following processings are available from the Active system process table.

- Access management
  You create access groups and manage access, based on access groups, from the Access management page.
- Users
  User permissions in Business NXT are managed using roles and access groups.

  You manage companies in Business NXT Admin.

  You can set up the email functionality for the entire system or for individual companies.

  In Business NXT, some information is logged automatically, while other data can be logged if needed.
  - Active session
    This table contains one row for each currently logged on session.
  - Active session processings
    The following processings are available from the Active session table.
  - Previous session
    This table contains one row for each previously logged off or stopped session.
  - Active system process
    This table contains one row for each system process in the currently logged on sessions.

    The following processings are available from the Active system process table.
  - Active company process
    This table contains one row for each company process in the currently logged on sessions.
  - Active company process processings
    The following processings are available from the Active company process table.
  - System data error
    This table contains one row for each SQL error that occurred when working with the system database.
  - Company data error
    This table contains one row for each SQL error that occurred when working with the company database.
  - EDI error message
    This table contains one row for each classic EDI notification received, of severity specified in the EDI-error message level field in the System information table.
  - Customer document log
    This table contains one row for each approved document, if Generate customer document log has been enabled in the Fax and e-mail processing field in the Company information table.
  - Change log definition
    In this table, operations and data changes to be logged are defined, according to the settings in the Log type field.
  - System change log
    This table contains logged operations and data changes in the system database, according to the settings in the Log type field.
  - Company change log
    This table contains logged operations and data changes in the system database, according to the settings in the Log type field.
  - E-mail log
    This table is used to store email and the sending status of email messages. There's one row for each recipient of an email message.
  - Tax statement log
    This table contains one row for each approved VAT report.
  - Tax statement log processings
    The following processings are available from the Tax statement log table.
  - Withdrawing tax statements
    Once you have located a tax statement, you can withdraw it using the Withdraw tax statement processing.
  - OSS tax statement log
    This table contains one row for each OSS VAT report.
  - OSS tax statement log processings
    The following processings are available from the OSS tax statement log table.
  - AutoReport archive
    This table contains one row for each VAT report.
  - AutoReport archive processings

  - Visma.net AutoPay log
    This table contains one row for each transfer to/from Visma.net AutoPay.

  - Incoming payment line
    This table contains details about incoming payments imported from Visma.net AutoPay.
  - Incoming payment additional text
    This table contains details about incoming payments imported from Visma.net AutoPay.
  - AutoInvoice validation error
    This table contains validation error that have occurred when sending invoices to Visma.net AutoInvoice, if Test content has been selected in the System information processing field in the System information table.
- Integrations
  For some Visma.net services that are integrated with Business NXT, you can start processings and also see the status of operations in dedicated tables.
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaced the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and was designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower all EU citizens' data privacy and to reshape the way organisations across the region approach data privacy. The enforcement date for all EU countries was 25th of May 2018. Norway, not being a member of the EU, transposed the EU regulations into its national law in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.

Active system process processings

The following processings are available from the Active system process table.

Cancel locking

This processing is used to cancel locked rows belonging to selected processes.

If the application has been terminated unexpectedly and a user had open system tables, these will be shown as processes in the Active system process table.

Starting the processing

Select the Active system process rows you want to process.
In the Processing menu, select Cancel locking.

After a process is cancelled, the row is unlocked and can be modified.
