Access management
You create access groups and manage access, based on access groups, from the Access management page.
The page is divided into different access areas: tables and columns and functionality such as running processings, printing reports and carrying out commands.
- Click Management > Access management in the menu to open the Access management page.
Creating access groups
- Click Create new access group at the top right of the Access management page.
- Give the group a name.
- If you want to, select permissions from an existing access group.
Access groups are assigned to users in Visma.net Admin.
You can also edit the name of a group, copy an existing group or delete a group using the different buttons next to a group in the list.

Managing access
You can set different kinds of access restrictions, for example, for a table, you can limit if the users in an access group should be able to view the table, make changes to values, add rows or delete rows.
For a processing, you can determine if the users in a user group should be able to run the processing or not.
You can also prevent certain access groups from managing layouts under General commands for each access group. The Manage layouts menu item will then be hidden from them.
Importing access groups from another customer or organisation
You can import access group definitions from another customer or organisation, provided that you have been granted System supervisor permissions for both customers/organisations.
In the Import access group dialog, you select the customer or organisation you want to fetch access groups from. You can verify affected access in the dialog before finalising the import operation.
