Shipment

The Shipment table contains one row for each shipment, per product/warehouse combination, with inflow, outstanding stock, reservations, realised stock changes for each transaction type, cost prices and stock values, and more.

Arrival/received date

Count date

Shows the date on which the stock take of the product was performed.

The Count date field is updated with the date you enter in the dialog box for the Transfer to stock count processing in the Stock balance table. You can override this value. When you correct the stock level, the Count date field is used as the transaction date in the Product transaction table. This makes it possible to select transactions by date and to select the same date in the value date in the Post cost dialog box, so that all transactions and posting fall within the desired period.

Countable quantity

How much quantity is physically countable.

The processing Transfer to stock count is updating the Countable quantity field. The calculation of the quantity starts with the Physical stock field and deducts the following:

On order lines with transaction type 1 - Sales, 2 - Hire or 3 - Loan, the difference between the quantities in the Finished and the Invoiced/realised fields is deducted from the Physical stock field in order to calculate to the Countable quantity field, if the finished quantity is more than 0.
Note:
Hire and loan orders can be excluded from the calculation of the Countable quantity field. This can be set in Order processing 1 in the Company information table.
On order lines with transaction type 6 - Purchase, the difference between the quantities in the Finished and the Invoiced/realised fields are deducted from the Physical stock field in order to calculate to the Countable quantity field, if the finished quantity is less than 0 (credit note purchase order).

Shipment status

A look-up opens the dialog box where you can see the following check boxes and options:

During stock take: When you use the processing Transfer to stock count the During stock take check box gets selected. This selection is disabled when you use the processing Correct stock balances. You can also select or clear this check box manually if you want to avoid further processing. When you use the processing Correct stock balances, only stock balances for shipments which are subject to a stock take are reduced. If you clear the During stock take check box, these shipments are not included. When orders are being processed, no reservations are made from shipments which are subject to a stock take.
Keep cost price: When correcting the cost price of a shipment on saving confirmed price refund rows, a value is placed in the Shipment status field so that the cost price is not overwritten on receipt of invoice. The value appears in the field when the Keep cost price check box is selected.
Confirmed by supplier: When you use the processing Confirmed for orders or order lines, the order line status is set at confirmed and the shipment is updated simultaneously. This is done to make sure that reservations made from shipments that have not been received are given the correct status when you reserve from this shipment. This selection affects the visualisation of confirmed date/week and arrival date/week.
