Warehouse

In the Warehouse table you define a post for each warehouse number.

The table contains general information about each warehouse.

Account set

EAN loc. code

An EAN/location code.

The EAN location code consists of 13 digits, and is unique world-wide. The 2 or 3 first digits identify the country in which the code was allocated. Norway has the prefix 70.

EAN location codes are a key concept in EDI, as they provide more effective, precise identification than long alphanumeric names and addresses.

An EAN/GTIN item number has either 8 or 13 digits. The 8-digit version is used for small packages. EAN/GTIN codes with 13 digits are unique all over the world, and the 2 or 3 first digits identify the country where the code was assigned.

Picture file name

A link to the picture file for the warehouse.

Tip:

Double-clicking or pressing * in this box opens the picture. If the box is empty, a dialog box for selecting a picture file will open.

Post code

The post code.

If you enter a Post code that exists in the Postal address table, the Postal area field is filled in and the cursor jumps to the next field. If the Post code does not exist you will see a warning in the Status bar and the cursor will then stop in the Postal area field so you can type in the Postal area manually.

If you press + in this field, the next available number is suggested. Gaps in the number series resulting from any deleted rows are not suggested. If you enter an existing number you will receive an error message. The number cannot be changed once it is entered.

Control columns

Control columns include information about who has changed the record last and when, and which process that is currently editing the record.

Changed by provenance

The provenance for the record change.

The current status of the record.
