Manual reconciliation

This processing reconciles the selected account statement and general ledger transactions, in page elements joined to the bank partner.

The processing can be used for reconciliation of transactions not processed automatically. If the Reconciliation rest amount in currency is 0, these rows won’t be processed.

Prerequisites

You need to use a layout where the General ledger transaction and Account statement transaction table page elements are joined to the Bank partner table.

Select one or several corresponding rows in the General ledger transaction and Account statement transaction tables.

An error message is displayed if the total amount for the selected General ledger transaction rows differs from the total amount for selected Account statement transaction rows. You can still match transactions with different amounts, provided that Match transactions even if amounts are different has been selected under EFT processing for the bank partner.

Starting the processing

  1. Select the General ledger transaction rows you want to process.
  2. In the Processing menu, select Manual reconciliation.

Rows that serve as a link between the reconciled transactions in the General ledger transaction and Account statement transaction tables are added to the Reconciled transaction table. The amount that has been reconciled is also stored in the Reconciled transaction table.
