Adding new rows

Click + New record to add a new row to a table.

The default setting is that new rows are added to the end of the tables. To navigate to the last row of a page, press Ctrl + Down arrow on your keyboard.
Note:
In design mode, you can specify the position of the cursor when the table is loaded, by clicking Design>Table settings in the context menu, and selecting the Navigation tab: First page and row, Last page and row or Open empty (First page and row after search or filter).

When you have finished entering data in a row and the cursor is in the last field in a row, you can add a new row by pressing Enter.

If you want to enter data in a number of new rows, it is a good idea to adapt the window for data entry, for example by putting the most frequently used fields first and hiding fields you do not need. You can do this by simply dragging the columns to the desired location and hiding the unwanted columns by pressing Ctrl+H or arranging the columns in the Manage columns dialog.

Remember that a new row may change position after you save or refresh the screen, depending on the fields the window is sorted by.

The Save button is displayed once you have entered new data. Click Save to save your changes or Discard if you don’t want to save them.
