Bank account

You can enter bank accounts for associates in this table, one on each row.

The bank account is used by the Invoices/credit notes report in the Order table.

Bank account

Bank account number of the associates bank account.

Note:

By default, no validations is carried out as to whether you have entered a valid bank account number. The validations are controlled in the Country processing field in the Country table.

You can use this bank account on the giro form when printing an invoice if you have selected the Client responsibility bank account on giro/accounting check box in the Bank account processing field in the Bank account table and selected the Withdrawal from client bank account check box in the Order options field in the Order table. This entry is then posted to this bank account rather than the one in the Client bank account field in the Company information table.

Bank account processing

Settings defining the behaviour of the bank account.

A look-up opens the dialog box where you can see the following check boxes and options:

Exempt from payment suggestions: This field is not used in Business NXT, but is used by some external EFT systems.
Exempt direct debiting: This field is not used in Business NXT, but is used by some external EFT systems.
Client responsibility bank account on giro/accounting: If you select this field and also the Withdrawal from client bank account check box in the Order options field in the Order table, you can print a different bank account on the giro slip when printing invoices. This entry is then posted to a different bank account from the client bank account defined in the Company information table.
Zpider credit card: This field is used by Zpider to save credit card information for the customer.
Convert client interest in foreign exchange to default exchange: Interest calculation is based on the Client interest proposal amount in Currency, and the domestic amount is calculated using today's exchange rate.
Created by EFT system: The bank account is set up for a customer or supplier on importing return data from the bank some external EFT systems.

Cross customer no.

If you enter a customer number in the field, an additional entry is created using this customer number, and a cross-account that you define in the Cross-account no. field.

This field is used when you calculate Client interest amount. The entry uses the organisational unit of the customer and not the organisational unit of the case.

Cross-account no.

You can use this field in connection with client responsibility for overriding the payment account on the invoice.

The account in this field is used for an additional entry if a customer number has been entered in the Cross customer no. field. If this field is not filled in, the value in the Account no. field is used. If the Account no. field is not filled in, the Client interest account in the Company information table will be used.

GL account

This field can be used to link the Bank account with a different Account no. in the General ledger account table.

The account overrides the Client interest account in the Company information table.

Interest rate group

The field is used to override the interest group for a case or client process.

Line no.

Each line in the table is given a consecutive number in the order in which they are entered.
