  - Webhook target
    This table is used to identify a user as Visma Connect application that can be a target for webhook events.
  - Webhook subscription
    This table is used to set up from which table and company webhook events will be received.

- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaced the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and was designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower all EU citizens' data privacy and to reshape the way organisations across the region approach data privacy. The enforcement date for all EU countries was 25th of May 2018. Norway, not being a member of the EU, transposed the EU regulations into its national law in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.

Webhooks are used to send real-time data between web applications, based on specific events, instead of constant polling.

In Business NXT, you set up the webhook functionality using the Webhook target and Webhook subscription tables.

A target must refer to an application that is set up in Visma Connect. This can be the same as an application set up with a GraphQL integration. This will be referred to as "the target".
