Interest rate
Interest rates of different types and date intervals are defined in this table.

The following fields exist in this table:
From date
Specify from date interval for specific Interest rate.
From the From date field you gain access to a calendar where you can mark the wanted date. The date you select will be placed in the field. If an entry has a date before the registered date, the Interest rate with the earliest date is applied to all Interest rate before this date.
Interest on overdue payments
If the entry has several Interest rate the printout is split into detailed lines when interest on overdue payments is calculated.
The date is validated using the regional settings in Windows.

Interest rate group
Customers who are to be included in the calculation of client interest must have a value in this field in the Associate table in the Interest rate group field.
Customers who are to have the same interest conditions must have the same interest rate group in the Interest rate group field in the Associate table. In the Interest rate table you determine the interest conditions for the Interest rate group. You can override the interest group in the Bank account table with case number and interest type. You can also override the posting in the Bank account table.

Interest type
Register the interest type for which the Interest rate is valid.
The interest type is valid as from the date you entered in the From date field.
- 2 - Client responsibility 1
- Reserved for future use.
- 3 - Client responsibility 2
- Reserved for future use.
- 4 - Client responsibility 3
- Reserved for future use.
- 5 - Client interest, all client responsibilities
- The interest rate is valid for all types of client funds.
- 9 - Interest on overdue payments
- Is used on rows that define interest on overdue payments rates. The "Interest rate group" and "Min. interest per trans." fields in the "Countries" table are not used for interest on overdue payments.
