Setting up bank reconciliation
The following procedures are relevant when setting up bank reconciliation.
Including or excluding transactions to be part of bank reconciliation
Since rows that were updated before the Update general ledger transactions with reconciliation amount setting was enabled will not be included in the reconciliation, you may want to include or exclude entries in the General ledger transaction table.
Including transactions
Select the entries in the General ledger transaction table that you want to include in the reconciliation, and run the Enable reconciliation processing.
Removing transactions
Select the entries in the General ledger transaction table that you want to exclude from the reconciliation, and run the Disable reconciliation processing.
Similarly, you can select entries in the Account statement transaction table and run the Disable reconciliation processing to remove these from the reconciliation.
Adding transactions manually
In some special cases, you may want to add rows manually to the Account statement transaction table. You add these rows directly into the table, and they will get the value 1 - Manually entered in the Origin field. Manually added rows can be edited or deleted until they are reconciled, while rows with origin 2 - Imported from AutoPay are locked for editing.
