How to activate the Master Data Management integration in
Visma Business

Local data has been replicated to/connected with Visma.net (see
Connect local data with Visma.net).
Prosedyre

Exclude data from Master Data Management. It
is possible to exclude data from Master Data Management (exempt a
whole master data type or individual rows within a master data type). That can be done
either before or after activating the Master Data Management
integration.
- To exclude certain rows from the Master Data Management
integration use the option Unnta fra Master Data Management that is available in
Aktørbehandl. field
(Aktør table),
Kontobehandl.
(Hovedbokskonto
table) and Ansvarsenhetsbehandling
(on all R1-R12 tables).
- To exclude certain tables from the Master Data Management
integration use the field Unnta fra Master Data Management in Bedriftsopplysninger table. There is an
option for each table: R1-R12, Customer, Supplier, Contact (Aktør table is split here for each
master data type) and general ledger account (GLA).
The rows or whole tables excluded from
Master Data Management can be
added back to
Master Data Management by removing
the
Unnta fra Master Data Management
option.
Merk: When using Felles tabell setup,
excluding such a table from Master Data Management
integration will stop data monitoring on that table for all companies that are part of
the Felles tabell
setup.

Enable the service for companies. Use the Aktiver Master Data Management processing in
the Bedrift table. This will
activate Master Data Management
integration in Visma Business
and the Master Data Management
service in Visma.net.
It is possible to activate
Master Data Management for
multiple companies at once by selecting more than one line in the
Bedrift table and running the
Aktiver Master Data Management
processing.
