Connect local data with Visma.net

In order to use Visma.net services you need to have users and companies established on the Visma.net platform. This section will explain how to get your local data either connected with existing Visma.net entities or how to create entirely new entities in Visma.net.

The Visma.net integration uses two values for connecting the on premise companies with the Visma.net companies:
  • Country
  • Organisation number
    Merk: For Norwegian companies only: Please remove any letters or special characters in existing Visma.net companies before activating Master Data Management because Visma Business only uses numeric organisation numbers in the communication with Master Data Management.
Verify that these values exist in the Bedrift table before enabling the Visma.net integration.
There are three ways to enable the Visma.net integration:
  • Integration through Visma User Directory - recommended way of connecting with Visma.net
  • Sending data from the ERP using Aktiver Visma.net processing in Visma Business
    Merk: This method is required for Master Data Management, Visma.net Approval, Visma.net Expense, Visma.net AutoPay and Visma.net AutoReport
  • Manually activating Visma.net integration in Visma.net online interface (not recommended; only used for error correction)

Services need to be activated in Visma.net for the required companies before enabling integrations.
