The integration with Master Data Management requires the following prerequisites besides the general Visma.net prerequisites.

| Visma Business Services Host for SyncEngine |
A Windows services communicating with Master Data Management. This is installed by the Visma Business produktlinje installer. The service is set to start automatically. Visma Business Services Host for SyncEngine service can only run if Visma Business license is activated. Visma Business Services Host for SyncEngine service monitors master data changes using monitoring objects (triggers) enabled in Microsoft SQL Server at service start. The service uses input from the monitoring objects to initiate the synchronization of changed master data to Master Data Management. Visma Business Services Host for SyncEngine requires that the user account set for the service (during Visma Business installation) has to be database owner (in Microsoft SQL Server) on the system database and companies databases. Also, the user on the database settings (set during Visma Business installation) has to be an administrator on the machine.
