The Byteskonto and Bytespris fields can be used in companies in which the customers finance purchases by exchanging a product or raw material, for example gold.
In the goldsmith’s trade, the Bytespris field can indicate the price per gram of gold. The exchange price is suggested in orders and is multiplied by the exchange quantities to arrive at the exchange values. The deduction from the amount which the customer (i.e. the invoice recipient, possibly a factoring company) owes remains within the account debited for exchange which you have referred to in the Byteskonto field.
