Table listings

This topic describes the concept of table listings.

Om denne oppgaven

Listings of all tables can be sent to the printer by opening the relevant table and selecting Home/Print/Print from the menu bar or the corresponding icon. This prints individual reports listing the content of a table. In some cases, it may not be necessary to send the report to a printer, as all the information can be displayed on screen using the menu item Home/Print/Print preview or the corresponding icon.

You can select the rows and columns you need to include, sort the rows in a different order and customise the information being printed in line with the purpose of the report.

You can also choose the form to be used for the header and footer. In the dialog box for the Home/Print/Page setup menu item you enter a form in the Form no. field, with form type 1 (lists). This is form number 1 in the standard version of Visma Business. You will find the form type that applies to the various forms in the Forms table in the Fixed information folder.

If you want to retain a customised window for later use, save it as a window layout. A customised window can be saved as a window configuration for use at a later date. You can also save the layout in a custom folder.

You can print a report directly from the Home/Navigation/Layout explorer menu item or the corresponding icon. If you want to make further selections or customise the report further before you print it, open the window first.

Macro Functions

You can export from/to date from the "Accounting periods " on form type 1 (lists). You do this with the following macros:

The purpose of the macros is to use them on forms when printing accounting reports enabling one to select the report period with from/to date instead of or in addition to the @Parameter macro that can only show from/to Year/Period. The macros are created for companies where the accounting year may differ from the calendar year.
