Grant access in Visma Document Center

In Visma.net it is possible to set up a user the following way:

Grant access on company/company group level (roles)

We can add Visma Document Center roles from Visma.net to Visma User Directory once Visma.net connection established.

You can assign/remove the Visma Document Center roles to the user according to the license in a new column called Visma Document Center. Example of roles : Accountant, OCR, Document Controller..

Merk: Connection to Visma.net must be on in order to do this else the column is hidden. Each company must have Visma Document Center as Application in use before role can be assigned.

Assign/edit/remove roles handled in VUD.

You can assign/remove the roles to a user in level company/company group and Customer (license) in a new column called Visma Document Center.

Upgrade from previous version than 14

A role shared by multiple application types in VUD will be split into corresponding roles for each application type. In order to preserve the uniqueness of the name, the new roles' names will be prefixed with the application type name. There will be a Visma Document Center Accountant, Visma Business Accountant and so on. Display names, however, do not need to be unique, they will still have the common value Accountant. You can see this difference in VUD management console under company group , tab roles.

The connection to Visma.net is also stopped during this upgrade. Connect to Visma.net need to established again.
