Adding new general ledger accounts

Om denne oppgaven

If you want to enter a new general ledger account, Visma Business adds it at the end of the table. When you save the table, Visma Business will re-sort the rows so that the new account is placed in the right location in the table.

If you are entering a large number of general ledger accounts, it is often worthwhile customising the window to make entry easier. For example, you can set up the table so that the columns that you must always complete appear first in the table, while columns that are to be left blank are hidden. If you save the window as a permanent input configuration, in the Design/Table/Preferences menu item you can check the Last row box under the Position on open field.

This means that whenever the window is opened, the cursor is always placed in the last row of the table, ready for new entries.

If you want to repeat the value from the corresponding field in the previous row, select Edit/Home/Edit/Suggest value/Repeat value/Repeat value from the menu bar or type / in the field (and not in the edit line, which interprets the / character as part of the field value). You can also cut and paste as in any other Windows program.
