Restrictions on the use of voucher numbers and voucher and document series.

1 - Tillåt bara en användare per verifikationsserie åt gången

Visma Business locks voucher and document series when it retrieves the next free number from them, and releases when the edits have been saved or withdrawn.

One advantage of this is that the next free number will always be restored if you choose to close the batch window without saving, so that this does not cause any gaps in the series, and some companies (especially in Sweden) prefer to use uninterrupted voucher number series within batches. Other simultaneous users who try to retrieve numbers from the same series will be rejected, with a message telling them that the voucher and document series is in use.

If a batch is locked due to Visma Business not being closed properly, voucher and document series that are locked will be released when you cancel the locks on the relevant process.

2 - Dubblettkontroll verifikationsnummer

Visma Business will perform an extra lookup in the Uppdaterad verifikation table to make sure that the voucher numbers have not been used before. This does not prevent vouchers that run over several lines from having the same voucher number, as long as they are updated at the same time.

3 - Kontrollera både verifikationsserier och verifikationsnummer

Visma Business will perform both the check in option 1 and 2.
