Girobelopp som text

The language the @GiroAmountAsText () macro is using.

You can use this macro function in reminders, interest notes, payment giros and order documents. The giro amount is then printed as text in the language you have selected in the Girobelopp som text field. You must place the @GiroAmountAsText macro in reminders, interest notes, payment giros and order documents to get the giro amount as text.

The macro provides three options:

@GiroAmountAsText (), producing one thousand five hundred and ten 00/100
@GiroAmountAsText (1), producing one thousand five hundred and ten Kr and 00 øre

English UK and US have a special option:

@GiroAmountAsText (2), producing zero zero, zero one five one zero 00

Depending on the language you have selected, the currency identifier is changed when option (1) is selected:

Norwegian, Danish and Swedish shows Kr og 00 øre
German shows Euro und 00 cent
English shows Pounds and 00 pence
US English shows Dollars and 00 cents
Lithuanian shows Lt 00 ct
Polish shows Solvotych 00 Groszy

Russian, Finnish, Latvian and Estonian are not defined.

There is also a macro for outputting the amounts with a fixed number of printed characters and digits. @DigitsInTextBoxes (number of boxes, number of characters) This macro is an extension of the special option in @GiroAmountAsText(2) and has been created for the UK and US market, where these values must be printed on cheques and other bank documents.

Specify how many number boxes you want to print. If you do not specify values, the default number of boxes is 6 and the number of characters in each box is 10.

In the first parameter you define the number of digits to be processed. If the number is greater, the defined number of digits is used, starting from the right. This means that digits exceeding the definition are not included.

Leading zeros are represented by asterisks (*) corresponding to the defined number of characters.

The number name is padded to the left with leading asterisks up to the defined number of characters. The minimum length is 5, which is the longest a number name can be in English. If you specify a smaller number, the system removes characters up to the last character.

We recommend that you use a fixed-width font rather than a proportion font.
